Orange Diamond Back Goby - Starving to Death?

i have had my goby for a few months now and he has been doing well. always coming up to eat with a virocous appetite. (i don't know how to spell that) just in the last week he has gotten thinner. today we fed and he looks all sunken in. his head is huge but around his eyes and middle he is sunken in. how can i feed him enough without feeding too much in my tank?
