Question

Opposing water current?

I currently am cycling a 5 gallon nano reef with live rock, and had a question about water current. I am using a powerhead to circulate water in one direction around the tank. However I also have a HOB that I'm using for increased circulation directly over the powerhead, however blowing the current in the opposite direction. Somewhere the two have to meet in the middle. Is this going to cause a problem of any kind. Is it better to have everything going one direction or does it not make a difference as long as there is movement? ....I know I could move one or the other, but they are positioned so well I didn't really want to adjust everything again?

It's always been reconmended that a choatic current is best - one that changes every so often works great too

random water movements is best. so converging flows is a good thing.
