Opinions on setup

So I have been lurking on this site for around a year and have found a wealth of information. Now I am looking for some advice and or opinions about my pending setup. I am preparing to set up my 180 that I bought a little over a year ago. My intention is to keep an SPS dominate tank. Here is my list of goodies.

180g AGA reef ready tank with dual corner overflows
58g acrylic sump
Undecided on size of refugium
Panworld 100PX-X 1270gph for the return pump
Korallin 1502 calcium reactor with MR3 guages
Milwaukie SMS122 PH controller
MRC kalk reactor
ETSS 800 protien skimmer
PM waste collector
Panworld 150PS 1100gph to power the protein skimmer
Litermeter III for top off and kalk dosing
Typhoon III for Ro/DI
3 PFO mini pendants with 250w DE 14k Phoenix bulbs fired off of Ice cap ballasts
2- URI 72 Inch VHO Super Actinic Bulb (160 Watts) fired off an Icecap 660
OM 4 way for return
OM 4 way for closed loop
Amp master 2700 for closed loop
Wave2k wave maker for additional water movement
1/3hp Aqualogic Delta Star in-line chiller
2- 250 watt Jager heaters
I intend to put in 150-200lbs of live rock that has been cooked.
I also intend to have an SSB. Yes I know this requires diligence on my part, but I am prepared for it.

I am interested in anyone’s thoughts or opinions about this setup. I am also very interested in hearing any input about the wave2k unit. I have heard both good and bad but have not heard much lately. I intend to use it as I already have it. It was one of the first things I bought, before I had a clue what I was getting into.

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

all of that sounds awesome except I would do at least a 90 gallon sump and maybe then a smaller fuge but that only IMO

Sounds good! I think the size of the sump depends on what you want it for. If it works with your skimmer and hides heaters etc.. then great, if you want it for the added volume then go bigger. As for the size of refugium, I would get as big as you want or can fins space for. Since it will be a form of filtration get the most out of it! For my 150 I am going to use a 75g for a fuge. The more macro I can support the better the export of nutrients. If all you have room for is a 20 then do a 20!
The one thing you need to be certain of with the sump is that in case of a power failure you have enough room in there to handle the amount of water that drains into it. Make sure that the returns are as close as possible to the surface or there is a siphon break on them. My 150 drains about 10 gallons when the return pump is shut down. My sump handles it great with room to spare. Youll want to test this to make sure before you move it into the house, btter to have a wet garage floor than awet living room floor!
