opinions needed

Has anyone used Coral-Vital, Reef Vital DNA, Spectra Vital and BlackPowder products before . I saw a review of these products from the distributers and they sound great but I know this could just be snake-oil advertising .

Well I am sure my opinion differs with many here, but here goes....

I use Spectra Vital. We use it where I work too, and are happy with the results. My employer tried Blackpowder and didn't like it as much but I do not know exactly what the difference is.

From what I've read on various boards, Marc Weiss products aren't very popular, but in my experience, Spectra Vital works well.

Jenn for the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with the product(and us old guys with CRS) could you give a brief synopsis of what its supposed to do. I realize they hold the ingredients as proprietary and dont list them. What kind of tanks is it used in and what benefits compared to untreated tanks, thanks
