We have a Wellsophyllia Brain, but is has hot pink coloring rather than the pictured purple. I don't know much about the purple morph, but it's very pretty.

I saw one in Bretts' tank last night that is spectacular. Looks just like that one. I want one badly! He said his was less than baseball size a year ago and it is darn near the size of a canteloupe now

Very nice color!

I want to get an open brain for my nano tank. My lfs has open brains for like $40 or something like that. I was wondering how small a 'small' brain is considered, like what they state on Pet Warehouse?

Here is a pic of mine with just the actinics on. I probably see this color the most in LFSs. I like brain corals myself. Would like to find a rare color morph one day. here's my pic....

I have had three open brains. One from Pet Warehouse and two from two different LFS's. The one from Pet Warehouse was the best looking and the only one to survive. I have had it a year and a half now.

I love the brain corals as well. Here is a pic of mine. I've seen a bunch like the one you pictures...my LFS carries them for about 25-30$. I gave 3$ for this one because it was dying. That was 2 years ago.
