50 gal AGA with 20 gal AGA long as a sump. Mag 7 return pump, 2 mj1200, 2 150w heaters, 3 95watt VHO bulbs run off of an icecap ballast. I think that is everything that is drawing power.

that should not increase your bill THAT much !! sounds like something else is drawing power somewhere.

i have a 125 gallon sps dominated AND a 116 gallon frag system in my apartment ... 5 x 250w MH's, 6 x 110w VHO actinics, 2 mag 7 returns, a mag 5 spray bar, a mag 18 closed loop, 4 x 250w heaters, moded MJ's and various PH's ALL running ... and my electric bill is not even close to being double what it was before i started this hobby. it MAY have jumped $50 or $75 but nowhere near double.

My electricity bill for December was $78. This last one was $158. The winter months are usually my cheap months. It doesn't usually get into the $150's until the summer.
