I believe their prices and discounts come from the fact that they move such a large volume of corals. They can purchase in larger quanitity so the prices are better and in turn the supplier sends them the nicer pieces. Just monitor the site for a few weeks and you will see how many sweet corals they move.

another website I would order from (that I have ordered from and highly recommend) is blue zoo aquatics. They have very good customer service and their fish are very healthy.

Aquacon sent me all dead stuff with horrible customer service.

I have never had problems with Saltwaterfish.com. I would put the nod though to Live Aquaria due to the Divers Den pictures that look like what you actually get along with their credit on problems. It is no questions asked and I was impressed.
With a Name like Aqua CON i would be a sceptic.

exoticaquatic.com
Coralreeffarm.com

Here are a couple of florida shops. I have been in the coral reef farm and there animals look VERY heathy it is probably one of the cleanest shops I have been in and it's no frilles they opperate from an airconditioned warehouse no fancy tanks but super clean. the only bad thing I had to say was I was looking for some dry goods and the guy was less than friendly about it. but maybe he was having a bad day, that being said I will go back and buy live stock from him

the other place I have not checked out yet I will look at it in the next week or two, it was recommeded by another TRT member.

I'm in the same boat umakemekissu. I have to drive 45 minutes to a decent store. There are 2 stores in my town. One mostly maintains the commercial tanks in the area and never really has anything at all plus the tanks are filthy full of aptasia and bubble algae. Nothing I would ever buy. The second has a real nice store SKY HIGH prices and is just a smug creep with a very bad reputation. I have gone to buying a few things online an QT them for at least 2 weeks before putting in a display tank. So far no probs other then my purchase of inverts from Reefs2go which did get corrected. I have used drfostersmith.com for some coral purchases. Coral morphologic and one sweet little place I'm not telling anyone about the sold me Acan lord frags (rainbows) one 5 head, one 4 heads for 79 a piece. The deals are there just gotta search em out. If they dont have a DOA guarantee I would never use them.

Ya, I'm in the same boat as you. I live in NM...so not too many LFS's around here. I've ordered from both saltwaterfish.com and liveaquaria and don't have a bad thing to say about either of them really. They are both good with credits. Thankfully I just recently found a store in el paso I like...but I'm gettin ready to make an order right now from saltwaterfish.com.

Totally agree! I'm also a member of bostonreefers.org and they have trading sections where members can buy, sell, or trade livestocks and equipments. The price is much lower + save on shipping.

hi

Liveaquaria.com good reputation, but LA probably has the better customer service and maybe even a bit nicer livestock health (especially if you're talking their diver's den).
