*onday *orning...
...and I cannot sleep. for some reason, if I drink a coke and a beer in the evening, I cannot sleep...
Mell fixed my fave (bacon wrapped filet 2 inches thick and grilled fresh squash) for supper and I had a Warsteiner dark and a coke with supper...
but now I am WIDE AWAKE, guess I'll shower and go to work...
You'd think they would balance each other out.

Morning folks. It is not quite 3am and I am about ready to head in to work for another week of 12 hour days.
I need to try and make it until the 31st of July per my resignation, but talk about a hair trigger.
Have a good week kiddos!

I thought I'd set the timer correctly on my MH for my nano, but nooooooooo. Woke up at 1:30am with a light on in the living room. Now I remember that PROG 2 had ON at 0:00. Surprising that a light on in the living room woke me up when my bedroom door was closed? Then I couldn't get back to sleep. Too bad there were other insomniacs and early birds up at the same time. That's the kinda misery that shouldn't have to be shared.
Well, hopefully the rest of the week will go better. Guess ya'll heard about the shark attack in Sandestin (about 30 miles form here) killed a 14 yr. old girl on vac. from Louisiana? Sad, sad.

Good *onday *orning, Tom, Awessie, Loverotties, Perry, Roger, & All!
Mid-80s and maybe some showers today....typical for this time of year.
Yes, that was awful about the girl killed by the shark.
Tom; beer & coke don't mix!!
Whew....what a whirlwind long weekend! I'm ready to go to work today for some rest!! Picked my grandson, Chance, up on Thursday evening (120 mi. round trip) then he and I headed for Cades Cove bright and early Friday morning. Spent the day stalking bears, deer, etc.; checking out old cabins, the old mill, and barns; playing in the streams; walking through the woods; had a picnic; and just had a grand time together!! Then, had to return him to his other grandparents (another 120 miles) and get back home to attend funeral services Friday night for the mother of a close friend. Saturday morning, it was graveside services for my friend's mother then get ready to head to Carson-Newman for FishGirl's end of music camp program. The kids were just great and the program excellent but we didn't get back home until about 10 pm. Mary Elizabeth was worn out, too. Then, yesterday, it was up before dawn again to head back to Cades Cove. Among other things, I saw a newborn fawn, so wobbly it was barely able to stand!! What a privilege to see this wonderful little baby deer!! Of course, the camera was rolling throughout this great weekend, not to mention about 400 more miles on the Tahoe!
Chance on the porch of the Carter Shield's cabin in Cades Cove. He used one of my cameras to take his own set of photos!

Good Mawnin', Tom, James, Rotties, Perry, Roger (hbdty), Dick, Vince, and all of TRT!!! Thanks for the coffee, Rotties. Vince and I are both in great need since we're going back to work after vacation. Cruel reality on a *onday *orning.
James - do watch out for *onday *orning patrol. Somebody's likely to call you on using the M in those words *onday is the only day we groan about, right, kids? Of course, right!
Wow, Dick. You did do a mess of driving this weekend. Sorry to hear about the loss in your circle of friends.
Horrible news about the teen killed by a shark. And so close to where you live, Roger, makes it especially frightful.
Tom- skip the cola at night. That's a sure awake alarm for me.
Perry - keep a stiff upper lip and cruise through the week. You're tough, and you can do it to show everyone how it's done
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.
