Good *orning, Vinnie, Sndwave, & Everybody!
More nice weather, with sunshine & temps in the 80's, if further extending the drought can be considered "nice".
I went to church in another town to hear FishGirl sing yesterday morning and the trip was like old home week for me. The church is small but Rutledge is a small town, about 40 miles from here, and Grainger is one of my counties. It turned out that many of the members are dear old friends. I didn't know that before we went as I'd never been to that church. I lived in that county for many years before moving to Sevier County in 1988. I was sure proud to have my daughter singing in front of so many friends. It was an interesting situation as ME's Bible and Latin teacher was 'auditioning' to be interim pastor at the church. It was his first sermon ever and he delivered a good one. The church ladies had prepared a big dinner and I left stuffed. Pictured below; Mary Elizabeth; her friend, Lacy, who also sang; their choir director; and Rev. Ownby, the young teacher/minister.
Have a *agnificent *onday, Everybody!

Good mawnin', Vinnie, George, Sandwave, Dick, John, Mitchell, Frank, Doug and all of TRT!
Thanks for the coffee, Vinnie
Dick - Great Sunday for you and M.E., Dick! I hope you had a lot of Kleenex with you while you listened to M.E. sing. Ditto on beautiful weather, but no rain
George - bummer on having a bad weekend. Onward and upward.
Mitchell! Great to hear that your son was feeling better. Love that photo of the cat looking out the door.
I'm running late, and gotta get hammered into shape for work. Byeeeee
Lots of love and hugs and peace to everyone.

Wonderful photos of your son, Mitchell! That one taking a swing is super!
Wishing you a better day, George.
Cath, hearing ME sing always makes my day brighter.
Time to get ready for work.
