old reef question

I hate to keep asking questions but I was hoping someone could ID some algae for me. It is very hard to remove from the rock. It takes 2 hands one to hold the rock in place and one to pull it up. It feels like steel wool. It doesn't seem to grow very fast. It grows in clumps and is everywhere.

Got It!!! have had it for yeeeears.

this is the least obnoxious algae i have. it is such a slow grower i leave it be, plus the fact that nobody wants to eat it. i think it is also called maiden hair algae.
