Ok, will this work?

Ok, about those eductors, i was thinking about taking the return(Mak 4, 1190gph, equivilant to Iwaki 55 rtl i think) and using 3 90degree angle to lower it 8" underwater. It would be a 30degree eductor, dunno where to find them yet, and it would be coming down into the water in one of the front corners pointing towards the opposite back corner. This would look horrible, but i don't know how to get the 3,000gph+ from knocking down rock and corals and makin fish into scratch and sniff stickers on the sides of the tank!

Whadda u think? I wouldn't be using the squid, so it would be a constant flow, is this strong of an unaltering flow good for the corals? Can it be split by a squid, or would only 700-800gph be enough, is this how much would come out of the squid? I mean, i would have an extra squid laying around, if i can use it i would like to.

I am sure someone is going to think I am stupid, but how does an eductor work on the intake..is it like a venturi on a carburator...I understand the velocity increase but when it widens back up it seems like the flow will slow down. It seems like a skinny nozzle would increase the pressure on the outlet, though the flow would be the same at the end of the tank.

The trick is that there are inlets that alow tank water to be pulled into the area of low presure/ high velocity so you end up with more water moving at a lesser speed. I tried an ANSI art version below flow is from top to bottom.
* - pump water
. - tank water
++ - high speed water
