my PH has also been running low, but I do not have a test for that. I have LPS, softies, cleaner shrimp, emerald crabs, sailfin tang, two clowns, yellow wrasse, flame hawk, scooter blenny, bi colored blenny, 2 yashi gobies and a pistol shrimp! Wow that was a mouthful!

I think PH is important regarding the ALK reading somehow Calcium, Alk and PH are all tied in together

first, do a water change and test again. it should go up a little, maybe get some calcium and alk from the lfs and dose it lightly to bring it back up to a higher range.

for your situation, just get a good CA supliment
Kent make a pretty good one
the more SPS you get, the more you'll want a CA reactor or kalk reactor
