OK one more time.....tube=feather duster not aiptasia???

I was just getting ready to shoot some teeny aiptasia looking things with Joes juice, when I saw they were coming out of a tiny white tube....retracted into the tube, AND they had the brown markings on them like my big one in the tank. So reassure me one more time...if it has a tube it is a feather duster????
Thx

you have featherdusters. you want to talk about a great filter feeder! you will start to see a lot of them in the darker areas of the tank. most are in the lower flow areas.

OK thanks guys, that is good newsQ So, did this come from the one I bought at the fish store? Or is it different? What is the official name of the dusters that stay tiny with white tubes? This way I can look up some pics for better ID.

probably dusters, but i have had hydroids that look like brown anemones in tubes. tubes were 1/4-3/8" tall and the tentacles were less than 1/4" across.
