Ok... I'm so awful for not posting in sooo long

First, I want to say HELLO to all the folks here I've known here for years, and sorry for not being around. And HELLO to all the new faces as well..

Second, anyone who sent me "new tank start up help" stuff I guess it was 3 or 4 years back--THE STUFF IS IN USE! I've had my newest 55g setup for a year & a half now Thanks SO MUCH for caring enough about me to help me start up again after that awfullness of my ex who killed my tank with Pine-Sol (grrr.... he tried to kill ME after, but he is LONG GONE now)

It DID take me a long time to feel "healed" from that tank loss, but yes, I did start up my new tank and everything's pretty good now! I've been taking it veerrrrrrrry slowwwwwwwllllllly, but that's prolly for the best.

So... Here's what's in my tank:

FISH:
4 percs <3
1 royal gramma
1 sailfin blenny
1 blue damsel (The startup "tester" fish... IS it possible to even kill these stupid things? )

INVERTS:
1 coral banded shrimp
misc snails
misc hermits
1 "evil" white hermit (he's weird... I never saw one like him. but I like him, feed him by hand, and he's calmed down some)
2 peppermint shrimp (I think... I dunno. I got them just a few days ago and they were SOOOO TINY they might be hiding or they might've umm... you know.)
1 Condy anenome
1 flower/rock anenome
1 other flower/rock anenome (i think?) that was on a coral's rock I got, but it a darker color, and moved to another rock)

ROCK:
around 70 lbs (I'm proud to say for the first time EVER--this is my 3rd tank--I'm finally not way way under in how much rock I should have WHOO!)

And (drumroll...) CORALS:
Various Mushrooms (starting to actually SPREAD! Joy of joys, I'm doing it right!)
Some Unidentified Weird Polyp-y Things
Yellow Polyps
Brown-ish Button Polyps
a Colt Coral that split into two seperate ones, one is doing AWESOME, and I think the other will perk up a bit too.

I think I got everyone.... I do have a wishlist for a yellow tang, a pearly jawfish, a few peppermints, a cleaner shrimp, and more corals, but I'm just adding to it all here & there

NOW......... a question... or.. comment?

My biggest clown (presumably female, since they do that) has a MEGA HUGE BELLY... I'm assuming that she's gravid? Will she lay those? Will the next biggest clown (assuming he's male, since, again, that's how they go) fertilize them?

I have an empty 20 gallon tank... Should I put them in there or something?
I wasn't TRYING to breed the clowns, but if they'll lay eggs or whatever, I'll certainly help in whatever ways I can to try and save the babies...

What to do, what to do....

Well anyways, Thanks again everyone for all the help you've given me in the past, and thanks for still being here NOW!

Doh. He tried to kill your fish with pine-sol? If that isnt abuse i dont know what is. My S.O. jokes that she is going tp pour a cup of bleach in it if i dont put down the red flashlight and come to bed, but i know she likes the tank WAY too much for that. Shed be more likely to spike my coffee with arsenic then to kill the tank.

Glad you and your tank survived that one.

Welcome back and I have a red reef lobster that makes short work of blue damsels (if they sleep in the wrong spot or are not fast enough!) Not sure on the clowns

Um, no, he didn't TRY, dear... he DID. I survived that relationship, but the tank didn't.
If you search WAAY back, you'll find a post I made called "Pine sol isn't good for tanks" or something to that effect.

He was a big poophead abusive jerkatoid. He did his jailtime and is now out, but not in my life anymore.

Mine's FAST! And he's MEAN to my royal gramma.
If he wasn't a 2.99 POS petco special, I'd give him back to them... Although, maybe I could do that anyways, I know they will take animals and let folks adopt them.

(FYI for those reading: I know, I know, petco sucksazz, but he was the TESTER feeshie, you see... he wsan't SUPPOSED to live. He just didn't die the way his domino damsel counterpart did is all )
