Ok here we go holyscoly's 150 tall build

so i/we(the wifey) decided to upgrade after much measuring and thought i finally came up with something i was pleased with and my wife agreed with. since we live in a 2 bedroom apt i cant just walk in with a 210 gallon tank i wish i could but it would probably look weird in our living room so i went with the perfecto 150 tall 48x24x30 tallwith a corner overflow i really love this tank im finally going to look at my tank eyelevel here is a pic.

Looks like a fun project! Hope you have long arms, I have to keep a step ladder in the house for my 24" setup. Good luck!

well thanks guys i agree about the step ladder im 6 1" and have a hard time touching the bottom of the tank but i think i will appreciate the tank and the extra space once i have it up as far as lighting im going to use my 2 250 xm 10ks i should be alright as long as i keep al my sps from the middle up im also going to run the new reefoptix reflectors on the mh and im going to run 4 54 watt t5s.

I wouldn't use a check valve, just drill anti siphon holes in the returns. Whether you use PVC or flex hose is more of a personal preference than anything else. Whatever you prefer.
