oh problems

well my skimmer made a small flood in the house today while i was gone, heres the story when we moved to our new house i had the tank moved professionaly, the guy was recomended by my lfs, anyway in doing so when he put the protine skimmer back on the refug he cracked it, by the way it was a hang on, so the guy tried to fix it, ten months later it broke loose all over the place, i called the guy and no responce, so i took it to the fish store to try to match it and told them what happend and they offered me a used skimmer for fifty bucks or they would give me fifty off a new one so it took a new one a sea clone 150 the next size up from my old one, so i took the new one and while hooking it up i noticed in my over flow swimming around was one of my triggers, tried for an hour to get it out and needless to say he has a new home, i could not get him out, so it has been a fun day.

That is annoying you should of made him pay for it for the price of the move.
Is the trigger still allive? If so what type of over flow, and what have you tried so far?

can you get your hand in there?
is it an all glass aquarium w/ factory overflow.
may need to let the overflow drain and remove the fittings to fit your hand in there.
