oh oh a lobster

Well based on not enough research I have a purple lobster otw from saltwaterfish.com. This is a big FOWLR tank with the smallest guy in there about three inches long. Along with him I got a shrimp goby and a caribbean pistol shrimp.

Despite the claim of being reef safe will the lobster eat my new guys? I wanted to get an invert that would not end up as lunch. If only the world could just live on frozen number one food we could all live a lot longer.

I have a "blue lobster" in the FW tank (fancy name for a crawdad if you ask me) that munches on guppies and frozen silversides. The SW purple guy looks to be smaller and does not have the big old fish grabber claws. Hopefully the purple can stay happy on frozen big silversides.

just feed them on a reg basis so they dont become opprotunistic omnivores (5 bucks say one of those is spelled wrong), I think it'll be ok

Beautiful jewls they are! I saw one the other day and thought that it would be cool to just build a tank just for him. Love to see some pics. How small of a tank could you keep one in? I'm running an 18tall. Possible or is it one of those "gee, should have got the big one"
