Oh it's on now, someone throw me a berghia and a straight razor (need a berghia)

My aiptasia took out one of my favorite snails last night. I am done with this stuff. If anyone has any berghia nudis to sell or give away - PLEASE let me know. None of my suppliers can get them.

You can try Melissa here at thereeftank. She recently started breeding them. You could also just nuke them with Joe's Juice.

Joe's Juice cant keep up with them. And I dont feel like going through 900 bottles of it either. I stab one and fill it with joe's juice, 10 more pop up.

Why would you think I was all worked up over it? This is a normal and natural occurance in quite a few tanks.

Forgive my ignorance....but Aiptasia can kill a SNAIL?

I didn't know that. How big is the Aiptasia? How big was the snail?

I find this detail quite intriguing. Seriously

I've never known aiptasia to kill snails either - - peppermint shrimp do a pretty good job of keeping the aiptasias at bay, plus they don't seem to care for strong MH lighting either.

i also have never seen an aiptasia kill anything mobile. i have seen it do a fair amount of damage to a softie coral, but most of the time they just really annoy corals. have never seen them actually take out a critter.
