Off Topic: We brought our first baby home!
Here are a few pics of our first baby, our second is scheduled to come home Feb 2nd. We need to put some weight on those skin and bones. Right now he is doing great but a little shy as he has been injected, poke proded, and the vet comes tommorrow.

This was taken the first day and he had not been brushed in about a year. He is looking better already.

That's a fine looking horse, Dave! Ivy sure looks excited and happy. Is this one hers or yours?
Congratulations; I know what hard work you've been putting into the corral/barn.

Hey Ivy and Dave! Looks like a nice horse although I have a problem with an animal bigger than me and I am big! LOL My wife Pat loves horses as she grew up with one in Texas!
Your horses will have a beautiful place as we have seen all the hard work you have done to provide for them. Great job! Johnny

I would not say rescue as we had to pay a pretty penny but the people who did own him really did not know the nutritional requirements for a horse. They also did not know how to train a horse or the maintenance items such as dewormers and vaccines.
Through all this he is still a very easy to work with horse with a great disposition. He will need a lot of ground work and our second horse will have a calming effect on him.

You lucky guy! Horses are great fun. When I was real young I got to take care of a beautiful Arabian. If we left the pasture gate open when we went riding, and he saw it, he would run so fast to get home. Congrats!
