Off Topic- GA Weather Conditions

Burr, its cold today in MI. Hey I was wondering what the weather in northern GA was like in late Feb. / early March. I don't know anyone that lives down there, my brother and I are thinking about taking a 4 day weekend and driving down to play alot of golf. Is the weather a sure thing or do we need to try to plan according? TIA.

Hi Nick, I live in South Ga but can tell you that the weather for that time of year is unpredictable. Most likely though, it will still be cold and snow is not out of the question.

Sure you do. It can be colder than Haides. Sometimes warm but more than likely cold. Let me know if you decide to come.

I'm not in north GA, but in Western North Carolina, only about an hour form the border. The best answer for weather in late Feb. or early March is...(Drum roll, please)... Flip a coin!

Seriously, it can be absolutely beautiful (with or without snow). We can have temps in the 70's, but then again we can have 12" of snow. It's usually fairly nice, but it can be anything.

I'd say pack the bags and come enjoy it. Odds are good for at least a couple days of golf. After all, daffodils usually bloom by the third week in February

Evenin' Nick!

Same weather conditions here in Spartanburg, which is right on the way to Atlanta! (hint, hint) And...you'd have to go through TN where Dick lives. Make a sweep of the South. Why, we could fix you up with eggs, grits and cat's head biscuits. You'd never be the same, and you wouldn't care about the weather.
