Of all things can't grow mushrooms

We got a mushroom rock about two months ago. The mushrooms were flat and covered a lot of the rock. Now there are little ones that are half the size of a dime and only a few big ones. I have not observed anything shrink away or die.

Can these shrink or do you think maybe I missed a few die, and then the little ones are new?

Here is my FTS and the Mushrooms are around the side to the right behind the xenia. As you can see everything else seems to grow ok.

Here is a shot of the 'rooms that were big..now most of them are puny but look great.

perry , like george said , some take time. my new guys have shrunken to 1/2.1/4 size and are not too happy. i have moved a few to better areas of lighing and flow and they sem to have growna bit more. with all the various types of mushrooms, some are picky so are not.

Thanks for all the advice guys. We just have a puny tank and a big mushroom rock. Moving it someplace may not change light or flow that much. Guess I'll just give it time...this could turn into one of those move everything around and screw it all up thingies.

I'll take a picture now then another in a month and post them side by side.
