sometimes you can fine the right size in the plumbing section of a good hardware store or plumbing store.

Home Depot has O rings of many sizes. I bought one there for my skimmer....like 58¢

Lost the o-ring that seals the top of my calcium reactor. Contacted Knop but haven't heard back. Them being in germany and all it would be easier for me to find it myself anyway.
I'll check of Marine Depot thanks for the info.

and look under O-rings (at the bottom of the fastening and sealing section). They have every possible size and every possible material. I replaced all my Deltec skimmer's o-rings to ozone safe o-rings so that I can run ozone. You have to order a package of five or six....but, it's only a couple of bucks per package.

I would check McMaster Carr at I think www.mcmaster.com
They have them made of everything in every size and all is in stock. I think that if they list things as food safe it would be ok for the tank.
You can pick out your size, get the next bigger and smaller and the customer service is just impeccable.
