nyc attack!!!!!!!!!!!
i was on my way to work 8:30 this morning.as i pass the wtc as i always every morning , i see aplane flying too low. planes are not allowed to fly over manhattan and i knew something was wrong. i saw the 1st palne hit the tower. i was in shock! arab palestinian terrorism immediately came to my mind.i stopped my car on the side of the highway , standing , watching, not believing.how can something like this happen in my home,my towers,my life.then , as i watch, another plane i see veering into the building and that was the biggest devastation to me and the city. we were under seige by disgusting inhuman *******s,may they rot in hell forever! if that wasnt enough, as i watch in denile,i watch the beauty of the newyork landscape change forever along with thousands of my fellow newyorkers perish. why? why inocent people? why like this? then , the pictures pouring out of the middle east. the pictures of those people responsible happy in victory dancing in the streets.what kind of inhumans are they? israel is trying to make peace? with what?? inhuman animals.im sorry, even animals protect their young. these inhumans send their young to destroy themselves and inocent people and children.**** them! this huurts me so much, and im sure i speak on the behalf of newyorkers and the entire united states. i hope we go to war with these counties and wipe out their very existence. god help us all. its so devastating to see the calamity of the destruction here.im sorry, im so hurt, seeing bodies all over of children, women, men, worker, police and firefighhters dead.even this post wont even help me get through this.we live in a great country and they will never take that away from us ever!

My heart goes out to you, the carnarge, pain helplesness and the courage of those trying to help should be nothing for anyone to see.An action such as we witnessed today deserves retribution.
a prayer for us all

As a New Yorker myself I am absolutely in awe. This is not an attack against New York and Washington DC but an attack on the entire United States. I am taking the NY Police test on October 27th and only wish I was on the job now. That way I could help instead of just watch on TV. My prayers go out to all the famies and loved ones of the victims

This is indeed a tragic moment but please lets keep a cool head till we figure out who is responsible. Remember the recriminations after the Oklahoma bombing. Heart felt prayers to all in the area and esp the innocent victims and the lost firefighters and police

Believe it or not eventhough I am in Australia I am an American. I have never felt more further away from home than I do now.
My father rang me at 1:00 am this morning. He sometimes can't get to sleep and has the radio on to keep him company. He loves his PNN. I will never forget him saying the words "the world trade centre is no longer there" ... from then on all I really heard him say was something about terrorism and planes. I think I'm still in shock now.
My thoughs and best wishes goes to those that have lost someone, to those still trapped, to the rescuers (I hope they find the strength to find the trapped ones fast enough) and to those that saw this horrific thing happen with their own eyes. It is so horrible to watch this on TV I just can't imagine what it would be like to see it happen.

"i hope all our allies stand along side us in this war."
Well on cnn.com there is a story about NATO that says - " NATO to support U.S. retaliation BRUSSELS, Belgium (CNN) -- NATO has unanimously declared the hijack attacks on the U.S. to be an assault against all member states. "
NATO will support U.S. retaliation

Drew - I hope he's wrong.
People got out from 100+ stories up, I can only use that as hope that the great majority of people managed to get out.

What can you say about something so appauling. Words cannot even begin to describe the tragedy of this event. It hasn't really sunk in yet -- I seems so unreal. It makes one question the very essence of human nature... How could a person be capable of something like this? How could anyone walk into an airport thinking, "I'm going to hijack this plane -- and kill everyone on board -- crash it into the World Trade Center..." I just don't understand. Don't comprehend. It is completely unreal.

I couldn't agree more. It chills me to the bone to know that there really are people out there that are like this. Just can't get my mind around it. I guess that is probably what George meant when he said that we have seen true evil (or something to that effect).
