When I leave my RO unit on, it usually ends up running all night long. I will need a lot of those if I am going to stop the flood. That is why my RO unit is in the garage where it can overflow down the drain if I forget to turn it off.

I just bought a shutoff kit for my RO, thinking that would eliminate wastage of my DI resin. But NOOOOOOO, somehow managed to put the salt in recirc with the freshwater inlet on, diluted the whole 55 gallon drum of salt water to fresh. Took it all night and the next day. That one jarred me. Thank goodness it's outside, but then I'll have to disconnect the unit tonight and bring it in, supposed to get down to 22. Brrrrrrrr
