I was looking at non photosynthetic corals online, just wondering what kind of maintanance they need/how hard they are to keep alive.

They are relatively easy to keep alive, but extremely difficult to keep healthy, they need to be in a high nutrient environment which also causes algae growth.

Heres a thread with the same question.
