Question for the chemists:
I have NO3 levels which rise sometimes. NH3/4 are 0 NO2 is 0 also. I don't know how to fix this other than water change. (Which helps). I've added Cycle, but it doesn't help. NH3/4 doesn't rise first, so I'm suspecting another source.

Just to add to the mix..... I have now killed 2 red clams. They live for 2 days and eat and filter and look happy, then in the morning they're open, and their dead. This doesn't co-inside with the NO2 spikes...
