no skimage


i have a coralife super skimmer 220 is it possible for the tank to to have anything left to skim i get foam but nothing in the cup cant figure out y does anybody knwo what i should do the tanks up for about a year now 75 gal tank 30 gal sump 10 gal refugium w mixed macro its a mixed reef large fish about 30 pc of corals all kinds over 120 lbs lr

Do you have the pump valve full on and the water level adujsted to the bottom of the collection cone? Also, when is the last time you completely cleaned the skimmer. Over time they will become less efficient when dirty.

Clean every thing ,specialy the injector nozzle.Then check the pump falve is wide open and water level adjustment is dialed in.

Has it ever collecthed skimate before? If so then I would try cleaning up as recomended, sometimes the impeller or the air intake area of the venturi gets gunked up. also if your running a high Ca content in your water you can build deposits in the pipes slowing everything down and reducing effeiancy, make sure to check the gate/ball valve on the drain side too if you have one. Hope you find the problem.
