Does anyone know about this product and how to use it with a poly reactor? I have a 2oo gallon reef with various corals and inverts, I add suppliments and do not do very many water changes and feed 2-3 times a week. Corals look good but the Nitrates are around 80 and I have heard that sulfur with aragonite in a poly-reactor can reduce nitrates. Has anyone tried this meathod? how much do you have to use and for how long before it starts lowering the nitrate? How often should you change the media.

I'll bump it! Because I never used that. The cheapest way is doing water changes and using RO/DI water fot your changes and top-offs.

In a sulfur reactor, you never change the media, you just add a little more next year when the level is down by half an inch The aragonite component in the sulfur reactor is not really needed, but many people like it.

It's really just a big nitrate reactor, the sulfur allows bacteria to grow and consume your nitrates. Definitely research nitrate reactors before you take the plunge, they are much more complicated than a fluidized bed filter. Good luck.
