No more dosing for me!
Just finished this last night, hopefully it should get me away from daily dosing. Always nice having friends that can work with acrylic

Right on... they can be tricky to get dialed in, but I much prefer mine to the daily dosing and frequent testing.

Yes, I ran one for a couple years on my last tank and they are definately a great thing. I am dosing about 1 gallon each of 2 part a week so time for a change.
This should definately take care of any tank I may have in the future. Duel 6" diameter 18" tall chambers. Definately won't have any problems keeping up with demands.
This is basically what I had set up on my last tank, a 125.

It allows you to inject carbon dioxide into a chamber to dissolve a calcium carbonate media. A small amount of tank water is pumped slowly through the chamber and returned to the tank, thereby dosing alkalinity and calcium.

Yes he does awsome work. Builds lots of acrylic tanks and sumps as well as reactors and other things. This is the quality of wrok for a friend who isn't paying for his time, his actual paying customers would have all polished edges and a cleaner look. No way I can complain though!
