next step in corals
i currently have some brown/green/blue zoa's/pallys. all are doing very well, and have some very nice color under my T5HO lighting. I was just wondering, if these corals are doing well, what other corals might typically do well in my tank as well? I did have pulsing xenia at one point, but i was an idiot and it got sucked up by my powerheads, due to me not doing a good job on mounting >.<.
Just new to the hobby, and am looking for some ideas on cool looking and reasonably priced corals for a beginner. Thanks!

I'm a sucker for ricordea. They come in such neat colors and look so good under the moonlights. They are very easy to care for too!

i actually burned up a quarter sized orange monti under my 4x56w t5ho's. you just have to keep an eye on them. start near the top of the tank and drop them 6 or 8 inches if they start to dull in color.
i learned the hard way, mine is now a white piece at the bottom of the tank.

You didn't say what size tank or what wattage of t-5's you're using but I'll tell you what I have under 130 watts of PCs in a 20 gallon high:
Several varieties of zooanthids, palythoas , proto-palythoa ("button" polyps) as well as yellow polyps , [anthelia and star polyps - both are invasive, be careful ] florida and yuma ricordeas , candy cane lps , frogspawn lps , Cabbage coral and Blue Ridge coral.
Depending on how intense your lighting is, I would recommend starting all but the higher-light-demanding corals on the bottom of the tank and then move them up gradually.

ah thanks, i just went and bought a pretty nice red piece today. I have the same light fixture as you, and mine is at the very top of the tank. I always thought that they needed a lot of light, if they start to dull ill move them down =)
