Newbie Question!


Can anyone tell me what the "cheatsheet" parameters for
Nitrate
Nitrite
Ammonia
pH

are for a reef tank?

ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate should be 0.

pH should be 8.3. pH changes throughout the day. from a low in the morning to a high right before lights out. the closer you keep it to 8.3 the better.

Don't forget Alkalinity 9-11 dKh (I run mine a bit higher) and calcium around 450
