Hi smpolyp!

Welcome to The Reef Tank! I'll introduce you to the folks I met smpolyp at MACNA, he's a member of the Orlando Reef Club Association ( great bunch of guys!) and a dedicated reefer. Thanks for coming to our board, your input will be appreciated!

Hi smpolyp and welcome aboard The Reef Tank! We try to be very easy on "real" newbies.
We do appreciate your joining us and welcome your input and advice. Those of us who visit RC regularly are certainly aware of your knowledge and, errrrrrr...."newbie" status.
Welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I warn you though I am a bit radical, but mean well.
After meeting Alice at MACNA and seeing she was dedicated hobbiest I had to cometake a look.
I just have one personal tank now. It is all the time and money I can afford now. I do have a work tank that I help set up and take care of. So I would have to say it is part of me. It is a 75 gal tank with 4 96 watt pc, a 4mdsc running the chiller and the tank, and two maxi jet 750. The tank has been up for almost 3 years. I shut the skimmer off all together in feb and have seen no neg affects. I has alot of coral in it and I will just list a few.Maxima, crocea, turbinaria reformis., turbinaria peltata,Goniopora, a few different leathers, anthelia, pom pom xenia, fungia, caulastrea, porites, mushrooms, ect.. For fishthier are about 17 sm different fish. Fridmani, Red Sea sailfin, assesor, Bangii, Ebli angel,T.R. ocellaris, royal gramma, blue spot watch man,ect....
For my home tank it is a 230 with a 20 gal refugium. 2 400watt 6500k,3 act 140 vho and 2 96 watt blue pc. The refugium has one 55 watt pc. the tank runs off of a 1.7 she pump pushing about 2500 gph. 4 maxi jet 1200 on a wavemaker that alternate 2 at a time every 15 sec. 1/3 chiller run by a mag 7 ect...
For corals I have mostly acros. I have 8 fungia(7 are 100% tank raised) euphillia glab., plerogyra sinuosa, ehuphilia diversa, maxima, squamosa, caulastrea, pachyseris, montipora capricornus blastmussa welssi, blastmussa merleti, ect...
Fish 2 psuedo splendis, 2 true perculas, two barber pole gobies and a morish idol.
Thanks again for the welcome and for those that know me I am trying to tone down, justget excited sometimes.
