new zoa's


I got these yesterday and they were more open yesterday then today I have read that they can stay closed for a while so should I worry and how is there placement in the tank.

Zoas are pretty bulletproof. You will be amazed how fast they start budding and spreading. They will eventually cover that whole rock.

I have been trying to ID them but I can't I know the pic's are crapy but the have a little neon green star in them, any help would be appreciated. And do palys grow like zoas?

IDing zoos is tough. Different places sell them under different names.

Palys and zoos are somewhat similar in nature, although I have found that paly are often a bit more aggressive as they grow against other corals.
