New video

Here is about a minute clip of my tank after i have added the 2nd seio 1500. You can see the algae on the rocks flowing pretty good...You can also see all the floaties in the water column that are really starting to irritate me also. There is also what seems to be some type of maybe black sponge or something on the rocks. is this good or bad?

Cool video. Is that tank BB? If so, how do you secure the rocks to the bottom of the tank? i.e. glued??

UNC,

Right now yes it is a BB but the only reason it is right now is because my rock is still curing and tank cycling. That is why i was showing some of the hair algae swaying in the current. I was showing everyone how much current these Seios actually do put out. I will be running a shallow sand bed at about 2".

Did anyone see the black sponge things i a talking about?? i just want to make sure thats what it is and not something bad

Thanks,
Right now there is seems to be less micro bubbles since i put on the filter sock. Mainly what is floating around is the crude coming off of the rocks due to the curing process. It seems to be alittle clearer this morning since i turned up my skimmer to skim wetter per wiskeys recommendation.

But i maybe skimming to wet now i dont know. How big should my bubbles be in the riser neck of the skimmer ?? right now they are pretty big
