new tunze nano streams - i love them

about two weeks ago i replaced 9 power heads with 2 nano streams.
i took out 7 - aqua clears ( 5 - # 20's , 2 - # 30's )
and 2 - maxi jets ( 900's ).
i love the results , way more flow , way random flow.
my milli's love them to!!

this was in my 60 gal. tall display
so far so good!!!

How did you get your flow more random - a controller?

placed in top back corners.
the small nano stream = no controller.
faced at each other = random flow.

Awsome! How much flow do they put out? Are you happy with the mounts that come with them?

i think they are rated 660 gph ?
i love the magnet holders , what a cool design!
you have to be careful with them, the magnets are strong.
strong enough to crack the plactic housing if not careful.
or give a wicked pinch to your skin!
lots of versitility with the design,
low profile , unliminited directional , good lookin' .....

forgot to mention , they are not completly silent ( i dont know how any working item with moving parts could be ) but...
very quiet - im still very happy so far - but not "silent"

Give them a little time to break in,.... My Tunze 6100's (3,100 Gph each) I can't tell if there running.

gotta' love the german products.
perfect for 75's , 90's ,
id put 4 in a 90 or 120 (for SPS's)
or step up the size . they are coming out with bigger nano streams real soon.
as for seio, dont know to much - my buddy runs 1 x 890 (or what ever it is) on a 75 gal. and has added a maxi jet 900 and an aqua clear 50.

on my next set up , when i can afford it , ill use the bigger tunze pumps with controlers -

Ya there is,.... Look at the big boys,... I payed $900+ for 2 pumps,... still having a ruff time getting over that.
