new toadstool

hey guys, I just bought a new toadstool about a week ago and it seems that it is still somewhat annoyed. The polyps are extended but the feedeer tentacles are not and it is sucked down to the base quite a bit. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with toadstools and how long I should expect before this thing gets happy?
Thanks
Chris

have you tried a water change ?? sounds like there is something in there that the toadstool does not like. even after fragging my toadstools they have polyp extension the same day. can you get a pick of this toadstool ?? some have little "nubs" as polyps/feeders and some have very noticable polyps at the tips of the tentacles.

Toadstools can be rather moody. I've had some experiance where I get them and they are happy the same day, I've had others shead immediatally and not open up for a week.

A water change is a good idea, they never hurt.
