good evening everyone. we've a new tank over here, it's only been up and running for 3 months. it's been quite smooth, my roomate and i have taken it very slow, we've finally got all of our readings in range, and our two leathers are really doing good.
however, we seem to have an explosion of snails. we noticed quite a bit of white shells stuck everywhere, on the glass, on the rocks, and now, we a few new tiny snails cruising around. we also have a strange slug, with what appears to be branchy, christmas tree-ish growths on it trying to climb the corals. also, there are some long tubes growing off of one of our rocks that our mushrooms inhabit...
so, my question is if too many snails will have any ill effects, if this slug is anything dangerous, and are the tubes i've observed
tube worms, and is this related to under-maintaining? this is our first reef tank, or marine tank for that matter, so im seeing these things for the first time...
has anyone seen these things?
