New Tank Setup
Havent been on in a while, I am in the process of planning a 105 gallon tank. I will be using it as part of a room divider. Want to go with Starphire glass, been checking out inter-America, sounds like they have some good prices, anyone have any experience with this company. Also, need some advice on the sump. Am think on going with a 30 gallon but dont know what design to use. Any advice will help me get going. Will have lots more questions to come.

sorry, do not know anything about inter-America.
have you decided what kind of critters you want to put in the tank? are you going to use it as a sump or a refuge also? i like the idea of sumps being as large as possible. there are always more gadgets that need to be put in there. also the bigger the sump the easier it is to battle the micro bubbles from the skimmer.

Going with a 30 gallon sump with a in sump protein skimmer> also am going to try a plenum system, I've been reading about them for some time and will give it a try. Tank will get ordered this weekend. From Oceanic, 105 gallon with Starphire glass on the front and back. I am using it as a room divider. Have not started planning the critters yet, but soon. Will take pictures of the whole porject and share with all. I will have tons of questions coming.
Thanks to all,

Tank has now been ordered. It should be in in a few weeks. I'll let everyone know if the extra money for the Starphire glass was worth it or not. In the mean time, if anyone has a Plenum system, I would love to discuss. I am thinking about it for the main tank and possibly the sump.

I went with a package deal from a local store, they gave me a pretty good price on the tank, lights, skimmer, cal reactor, sump, 100 pounds of rock and all the setup. The tank is coming from Oceanic and will be made custom. Cant wait, this will be my first Reef setup. I have had fish only on and off for the last 15 years or so.
