New tank Question

I ordered a AG 90g tank, black frame. not Reef ready.
Anyway, I noticed on the front lower frame that the silicone dried up squirting out the sides on the outside, still in tube shape. Also the tank had a tiny bit of silicone (i assume that is what they use to seal them) on the inside of one of the panels. Looks like a booger.

Is it that they did a sloppy job making it? Is this something that I should be concerned with? I've never seen a tank be that "messy". Other than that, the glass is good/new shape, lots of seal on the inside corners. My 55 came from petsmart was was very clean. Any advice? Maybe I'm being paranoid but I don't want to deal with it falling apart on me.

No picture until I pick it up today.
It's pretty much just a bunch of silicone squirting/oozing out the outside around the bottom frame. looks like it could of easily been wiped down before it dried. I'll take a picture today when i get home. Leaving work early to pick it up

I've never had any problems with an (AG) All-Glass, Now known as Aqueon tanks! Just fill it up and let it sit for a 24-48 hour leak test but I'm betting you'll be fine.

After looking at it, It really isn't as bad as I thought it was.
The tank is now sitting in my garage. I was suprised with how heavy it was.
Makes me nervous about making my own stand. I'll take tons of pictures this week and have a build thread up soon. Thank you everyone for you info.

just carefully scrape the excess silicone with a new razorblade. My tank is like that but I never bothers to scrape it. It doesnt reflect a bad job or that it's prone to leaks.

Congrats on the new tank!!!
