Ummm, I hesitate to post cause I'm a newbie myself but.... isn't a 29 gallon tank a bit small for a tang of any type? I frear the tang police are going to be after you.
Hope I'm mistaken, and if I am congrats on your new arrivals and I'll look forward to the pics

the tang might be ok for a little while (6 months if it's very small), but you'll eventually either need a bigger tank, or find him a new home.

Sorry to burst your bubble.
The minimum tank size a hobbyist should have for any tang long term is a four foot tank, preferably bigger (especially if more than one is kept).

Two things
What's wrong with those power sweeps?I thought it was a good ideal, but thought it was to cheep to be good. Also why is that to small?I had a 30 gallon tank with a yellow and a powder blue.Yellow was 12yrs old and the powder blue was 10 yrs old.At that same time I had a Volitan in a 23gal flatback that lived 20yrs and would of lived longer if we didn't have a bad storm that left us without power for 8 days.

Well think of it this way Loverotties. Would you want to be living in an 8 x 8 room for the rest of your life. Never being able to leave. Or would you love to live in a large house with a large yard. Kind of the same concept.

A prisoner does fine in a cell. Doesn't mean he really wants to live in a cell.
