If the tank is empty, fill it up of course. Not a bad sounding deal though. How is your Ich doing??

I just wanted to throw in my two cents. I married my wife after my second year of med school. She has been with me through school and training and I have to admit she has been a huge source of support. I likely would have hung myself with my stethascope along time ago if not for her.
The right girl even at the "wrong" time, can propel you greater things.

I finished up my Masters with a 2 yr old and one on the way. I think I would have killed myself with the big huge theology books if it hadn't been for my husband!!!
( Masters was in Religion: Youth Ministry was my course of study
so glad you didn't use the stethascope like that!!! made me laugh though!

this turned into a scary thread, haha. i'm only 26 and my lady and I are both in our 2nd years of med school. I'd like to wait until after residency, but she says diamondique is ok (trying to push things up). I'm still trying to buy as much time as I can.
But to stay on topic, the tank sounds nice. If I weren't as poor as I am, I would track it down, I know we live pretty close.

not sure a 30 is the best tank for seahorses. i would prefer a taller tank for seahorses.
this is my only concern.

This went far off topic.
I don't know, I feel I have perty much said what I have to say, other than:
With the divorse rate being over 50%, people growing and changing well into their 30's and people living record lengths of time, much like reef tanks good things come to those who wait. I feel there's no need to rush.
My parents dated unitl my dad got his pHD, and my mom got her Masters. I think they were dating about 8 years, I think you really know someone then, and you can feel confident that they are the person for you.

Yes, Whiskey, please don't take what I said the wrong way either. Everyone has to do what they feel is best for them. If waiting works for you wait, if not, don't. All I'm saying is don't close yourself off to possibilities. You wouldn't want to miss the right person simply because it didn fit your time table. Fate, God, Destiny what ever you want to call it tends to do things in its own time, and not always on your time table.
Anyway, YL is it typical to setup a system specifically for sea horses? Do they not do well in a regular reef or fish only system?

I'm not taking this the wrong way, I am just trying to figure out how the heck I am going to have this conversation without talking about religion or politics, since the Stigma of being unmarried is tied at the hip to both of them. Images of 50's movies with a group of women in the corner of a church building saying "Ooh, have you heard? He hasn't taken a wife yet, and he's 19 years old. Giggle giggle, I wonder what's wrong" flash through my head.
It is also especially hard to have a conversation like this without being able to see, or indeed even hear, the people you are talking too.
I wouldn't care if I never got married to be quite honest, the pressure is not there anymore, society doesn't demand it, and I have allot of friends (that are married) telling me how miserable they are.
I am a very independent person, if I ever did get married, it would have to be to a woman who is as independent as me, and good looking of course .

Seahorses definatly do better in a system set up specifically for their needs.
They dont compete well with faster greedy feeding fish, need to eat frequently, need holdfast to grab onto and softer currents.
Also do a lot of vertical movements so tall is good

Any particular tank size needs ... like you need a minimum of 30 gallons or 50 gallons? How frequently do they need to eat? What type of filtration? Do you still need a sump, or is a canister filter, power filter etc enough?
