Hey Guys, I know that I have not been around here much lately, but just thought I would drop in for a update. I just finished setting up my new 90g acrylic tank. I diy'd the stand, sump,
calcium reactor, and soon a new skimmer. The stand is made from birds eye maple w/ walnut on the sides and door frames. The sump is 36x18x18, and has 3 sections. The first is for the simmer, second is a ref, and the third is for the return pump and top off float. I am running a Iwaki 30 for the return, and a ampmaster 3000 for closed loop w/ a spraybar and 4 loc-lines. Lighting currently consists of 2x250w pendants w/ XM 10k bulbs. I was having a lot of issues w/ my old tank due to lack of circulation, dsb, and other things so almost all of my
sps corals have turned tan or brown. I am sure that they will be much happier in their new home. I will be adding a aditional 50lbs of pukani LR in the next week or 2 after it finishes curing. Well here is a pic
