New Snail On The Block

Last night, I found this snail crawling on the glass in the 55.

It is 1 cm. long and had a 2~ mm snorkle tube. here are a couple more views: http://fishparts.homestead.com/Hitchiker.html
I removed this one, should I wish for more or hope he was the only one?
Any ID idea?
TIA
Dick

Dick,

Turn the snail over and take a couple pictures of it's shell opening, and send them and the others to Dr. Ron.

From what I've read in the past from Dr. Ron, that shell shape and the siphon will probably mean that it is predatory, but Ron wont be able to ID it without the pictures of the opening.

Cool

Dr. Shimek looked at the photos for me and opined that it was a small whelk, possibly a coral eating species. A more definitive diagnosis couldn't be made as my photos weren't sharp enough (gotta work on that ), but he recommended removal. That has been done.
Thanks for everyone's help.
