new rock

well i just recived my rock today it only took 3 days for grownd and the rock has no pest's but it has macro and coraline all over it. i will have pictures soon (when the digi cammera gets back to the house) i was wondering if any of you had an idea for aquascaping? i have 50 lbs of LR about 8 good size(6-10") ones and 3 or 4 small ones(3-5").

Do you mean that it was in shipping for three days? I am just curious because I didn't realize that any vendor would ship live rock this way.

After three days of shipping just sit on your hands for a few weeks my friend. Once a week or so blow off the detritus and scrap off the gooey dead sponges with a butter knife and get all that stuff out of there with one of those vacuum tube thingies.

well yes 3 days in transit it was cheaper and i recived it off e-bay its nice rock especialy for being in a box for those 3 days. i think i will let it cook for 2 months in that tank befor i add anything.

its uncured so it may be 3 months but the stuff that is alive on it is amasing alot more then you would think i dunk'ed and rinced be for i put it into the tank to remove any detris on the surface and i will do this again next time i do a WC.
