He is so cute! I may have to get one...I have been wanting some kind of herbivorous blenny other than a lawnmower...this one has more color and I like that. Keep me posted on how it does.

That a coincidence! I also bought a Istiblennius chrysospilos last week Very nice, active algae-eater with a lot of character. A nice alternative for a lawnmower-blenny.

very cute!! I have the second one I thought they were called bullet gobies?
What ever he's called he is a work horse never stops cleaning he even ate my red algae(when I had it). The only problem I had with mine is he killed my two brains by continuously covering them up with sand. Any corals I have on my sand bed gets buried so everything is up on the rocks.

Yeah I'm kinda worried about the brains but the inability to keep the sand clean was driving me nuts !

He seemed fine last night he ignored everyone and they all ignored him. Hopefully it stays that way

That's what they call them by me.True workhorse but mine kept the sand right were it got it,I had your problem with other ones. They would pick it up and move all over droping the clean sand everywere, but not him.
