new life into old tank stand!

Ah this was a refreshing project... couldn't stand looking at my ugly old stand anymore, so the wife and myself gave it a good re-facing; sanded everything down, painted a base coat with the same shade as our walls (landlord left us 5 gallons, why not use it?) and then dragged a "mocha" colored special effects glaze over it... think it came out pretty decent, just thought I'd share!

...And here's the finished product, new hinges and hardware... not bad for two evenings' work; will at least let us tolerate this stand until we graduate to a bigger tank...

Thanks everyone - I think the lighter stand makes both my tank and the living room look about 2x as large now!
