new frags

well I stopped by the lfs to day and picked up 2 new corals

1 orange montipora capricornis and 1 smal cluster of zoos (a few orange one and some bright yellow ones.)

i have the zoos about mid way down i my tank with about a med flow on them does that sound about right. that about what all the reading i have found says would be the best for them.

ok now as for the cap what is eveyone option on these i have it at the top of my tank with a good med flow on it. is there any thing i need to look out for that might need to know.

what are some good foods for theses corals?
how should i go about feeding them?
is there any other aditives i need to be adding other then calcium.
my alk is at about 9.5 dkh, ammonia is 0.00, nitrite 0.00, nitrate 0.00, and calcium is about 420.

I will try to get some pics posted soon but for some reason my cam is not working right. i think my son did some thing to it but i will get some pics up soon. just got to figure out what he changed on the cam and set it back.

thank you all for the info and help.

Is that green color in the photo of the orange cap hair algae? Montipora are quite sensitive to high organic levels in the water and all that beautiful orange color will slough right off and leave you with a white skeleton. Skim the heck out of your tank and do not worry about trying to feed it. Given the right conditions they wil grow quickly.
