New fish and coral

I purchased a second false perc to replace the other that died of ich almost 8 months ago now. After the perc in the tank bit down on is pectoral fin for about a min, they instantly became buddies and began swimming around the tank with each other . . . awesome.

I also purchased a long tentacle plate coral about 4 in diameter. Today was the first day taht he puffed up all the way like he was in the LFS.

So excited. . .will be posting pictures later today.

correct me if im wrong but arent long tentacle plates one of those mysterious, hard to keep alive long, and misunderstood corals like elegance's?

I don't believe so. . . . I've never heard of a unsuccessful attempt of keeping a plate coral, at least from any of my friends that first got me into reef tanks. I've done everything that they have told me so I'm not very concerned
