new clown just passed out
a little while ago i got my delivery of a beautiful healthy saddle brown clown
i just went to peek on him in my tank (12g aquapod) and he panicked ramming right into the back plastic backing of the tank. hes now passed out upside down behind a rock with his face in the sand
great i killed him by looking at him
can he recover? or is this it? he is still breathing though kinda slowly

The saddle browns are one of those fish that take a very long time to get use to captivity. Three or more months is not unusual. I second the turn off the lights. Be careful entering and moving about the room until he is use to you being there. He should be OK. Just give him time and patients.

You could cover the glass portion of the tank to give him some privacy today. This would give him a chance to get use to his surroundings with as little stress as possible.

Aww, poor little guy. He is probably feeling like Nemo when he got thrown in the tank. Watch out for him jumping into the filter and jaming it. Also watch out for any menacing pelacins running into your windows...
