I guess there's a new boy on the block. Looks like it will run well, has a mesh needle wheel. I'll look forward to seeing someone pick one of these up and doing a review on it. All that for $179.99, cool.

The Turboflotor Blue 1000 is an exciting addition to our protein skimmer line up. Smaller than the T1000 Multi SL this skimmer is designed for use on aquaria up to 125 gallons. The 18” tall Blue 1000 shares some of the most popular traits of the Multi including one pump convenience and versatile hang-on or in-sump installation options. The great new Blue design offers a large volume collection cup, our patented conical riser, precision control and high quality cast acrylic construction. The super efficient 12 watt pump means it is easy on your power bill but don’t be fooled, to earn a place in the pantheon of Turboflotors this skimmer had to be fierce. Enter the new mesh needle wheel impellor. This twist on our venerable needle wheel design means lots of very small bubbles and one big attitude.

looks kinda toyish too me but hey it can also be a great skimmer i guess well have 2 wait and see the reviews.

I had a turboflotr multi. Hated it. Never was considtant and overflowed at least once a week. Made from extruded acrylic that was very thin.
